RoR Developer
Qualifications and Skills Required- Architect scalable software solutions.
- Debug complex systems
- Proven experience using Ruby on Rails and a frontend framework (ideally React with a plus for React Native)
- Employ stack-specific best practices naturally and consistently.
- Create complex data schemas and understand normalization.
- Proficiency in API design and best practices, including REST and GraphQL
- Understand the principles of application security and know how to apply them.
- Ability to research tasks and investigate spikes in sprints.
- Experience with application deployment technologies.
- Confidence in semantic HTML structures and CSS foundations
- Consistent practice in automated software testing
- Practice version control workflow and best practices with git
- Carry out code reviews and provide meaningful feedback
- Support team members and pair with other developers as needed
- Estimate backlogs and help clients determine the best order for dependencies and value for features
- Experience collaborating with international teams
- Remote: Only individuals currently residing in Mexico
